Fire Busywork (“Fire Busywork,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Charlie Madison. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit firebusyworkfreepeople.com, submit a website form, respond to one of our advertisements, communicate with us, or become a client.
1. What we collect
Information you provide. This may include your name, work email, company, optional phone number, the repeated work you describe, its business impact, files or examples you later choose to share, your communications with us, and your consent choices.
Lead information from advertising platforms. If you respond through a lead form on Facebook, Instagram, or another platform, we receive the fields you chose to submit and basic campaign or source information supplied by that platform.
Client information. If we work together, we may process business records, workflow examples, recordings, credentials provided through an agreed secure method, billing details, and the contact information needed to deliver the engagement. The signed client agreement may add more specific data-handling terms.
Basic technical information. Our hosting and security providers may record IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, referring page, and security events in ordinary server logs. We use this to run and protect the site. We do not currently place a Meta Pixel or other advertising tracker on this website.
2. How we use personal information
We use personal information to respond to requests; decide whether a workflow is a sensible fit; schedule and deliver services; provide support; keep business and consent records; prevent spam, fraud, and abuse; maintain and improve our systems; and comply with legal obligations.
If you separately opt in to marketing, we may send useful ideas and offers from Fire Busywork. That box is optional and is not pre-checked. You can unsubscribe or ask us to stop at any time. Choosing not to receive marketing does not affect our response to a request you made.
We rely on your consent where consent is required, on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the business where permitted, on steps needed to respond before a contract, on performance of a contract for client work, and on legal obligations when applicable.
3. Meta lead forms and advertising
When you submit information through a Meta lead form, Meta collects and sends that information under its own terms and privacy practices. Meta and Fire Busywork each control the information they collect for their own purposes. You can read the Meta Privacy Policy.
We use Meta-originated lead information to answer the request, understand which ad produced it, and keep a record of the consent shown on the form. We do not currently upload website-form contacts to Meta to create Custom Audiences, and we do not sell lead information. If those practices change, this policy and the relevant consent language will be updated before the change takes effect.
4. Who helps us process it
We share personal information only when there is a business or legal reason to do so. Current providers may include:
- ServerAvatar and Hetzner for website, form-service, and server infrastructure.
- Database and infrastructure providers for private lead and privacy-request intake records.
- Email and scheduling providers when you email us or choose to book a meeting.
- Payment, accounting, legal, and security providers when needed for an engagement or legal obligation.
- AI service providers only when their use is appropriate to the work and consistent with the client agreement and agreed safeguards. Website form submissions are not automatically sent to an AI model.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect people or systems, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction. We do not rent or sell personal information.
5. How long we keep it
We generally keep inquiry and lead records for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. We keep privacy-request records for up to three years so we can show how the request was handled. Client, tax, payment, and contract records may be kept longer where the agreement or law requires it.
We may delete information sooner when it is no longer useful or safe to keep. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove encrypted backups; backup copies are isolated and age out under the provider’s normal schedule.
6. Security and sensitive information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections, private intake records, validation, rate limits, and restricted service credentials. No online system can promise perfect security.
Do not use the public forms to send passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, medical records, private financial records, or regulated personal data. If a project needs sensitive information, we will agree on a suitable handling method first.
7. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold, receive a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or opt out of marketing. We do not discriminate against anyone for making a privacy request.
Use the Privacy Request form or email charlie@moregreenrealty.com. We may ask you to verify control of the email address or provide other reasonable proof before we disclose, change, or delete data. Authorized agents may submit a request, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity confirmation.
If you receive a marketing email, you can also use its unsubscribe link. We may keep a minimal suppression record so we know not to add you back.
8. Children
This site and service are for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information so we can remove it.
9. International processing
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those places may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful transfer safeguards provided by our vendors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, providers, or law changes. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be called out on this page or communicated directly when required.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy can go to Charlie Madison at charlie@moregreenrealty.com. Privacy rights requests should use the Privacy Request form so they enter the tracked request queue.
